Welcome to Finger Lakes Fresh, a division of Challenge Workforce Solutions. Finger Lakes Fresh uses a workforce of employees with disabilities to provide high quality, local vegetables year round. Grown in a hydroponics greenhouse, Finger Lakes Fresh produce is an environmentally-friendly and healthy alternative to large-scale products shipped from distant locations. Proceeds from sales support Challenge Workforce Solutions' programs; providing employment opportunities to individuals with disabilities and other employment barriers.

Our Finger Lakes Fresh Food Hub facility is an 18,000 square foot facility in the Village of Groton, NY which serves as a central food processing and packaging center. We will be sourcing a wide variety of locally field-grown food products from area farmers including root crops, herbs, and other fresh produce. We will then add value to these local products through cleaning, packaging and processing before selling through our existing broad distribution network. This collaboration makes local products available year-round and enables a larger presence in schools and colleges, healthcare facilities, restaurants and retail stores throughout New York State. This project is a cost-effective and efficient approach that will benefit farmers, distributors and consumers in the Southern Tier Region.
The proceeds from this business support the Human Service work of Challenge Workforce Solutions.
